The Brainwash

I do it, you do it, and as far as I know famous people do it too. That’s right we all have been addicted to Google things now and then, when we are bored, when we want to have fun (remember Googling for the drunk pictures), or simply put to search for shit. Lately though this trend has been shifting towards the dark side; what do I mean you say?

Let me answer that with another question, how many of you have MSN as their homepage? I know a lot of people out there who are too tired to even change that, but that is besides that point. Recently with all the Microsoft’s push for their search engine what happens is that as soon as your page loads (MSN homepage) the cursor sits nice and cozy at the search tool instead of the URL bar. Countless times I have put the web address and pressed enter and guess what? YES, the MSN search engine pops up instead of the toolbar. It has started to annoy me and aggravate me to a degree that is beyond reckoning.

You will not find a better supporter for Microsoft’s stuff, but when it comes to peculiarities like the one I described above it just drives me nuts. What about you?
