Houston Draft! Blunder or Genius

So Houston passed on this, I mean c'mon look at him, making this monstrous jump over whoever this guy is, look at the talent, look at the athleticism, look at the sheer will power that exudes from him while he is in the air, and Houston passed on it. It seems that whenever Houston in on the brink of greatness, there is something that springs its ugly head and tells us how unlucky we are that we don't have a shred of sanity within us. Houston comes close but never really wins the prize.

Houston in the draft picked Mario Williams as the first choice, and not to be unjust to Mario, but one analyst got it right. The original reason given to the masses for the pick was that Mario Williams was going to plug in the holes in defense and that we would be much better against the other teams in the conference, that the other team' offense was too great a threat for us to be focused on offense. Well guess what Bob Mcnair, the other teams basically toughned up there offenses and defenses a little more. Vince Young, Len Dale White, and that is just Tennessee. I am even afraid to think what kind of immediate impact Mario Williams will bring to the team. He may be an absolutely amazing talent, but the pressure of him showing every one wrong and other's expectation of him will ultimately be too much to bear.

But I may be completely wrong, (I hope that I am) but I still think that there are too many things standing in the way of Houston Texans even getting to 8-8.
